Royal Clubhouse Golf Excursion

Enjoy a golf vacation unlike any other as you experience the challenges of the links, and the distinct rewards of the Royal Clubhouse Golf Excursion.

Test your skills on four of the best golf courses in Western Canada nestled in the majestic beauty of the Canadian Rockies. These courses are distinctive not just for their unsurpassed beauty, but also for the elk and other wildlife you'll regularly encounter along the fairways and greens as you strive to make the perfect shot on these perfect courses.

Then as an indigo twilight descends upon the mountains, you'll savour the day's experience in the sublime comfort of the Royal Canadian Pacific's unique "clubhouse" as it glides quietly into the night to your overnight private siding.

Your 2008 Royal Clubhouse Golf Excursion is now available.

ITINERARY

Day One - You will be chauffeured from the Calgary International Airport to the landmark Fairmont Palliser Hotel where you will check into an exclusive Gold Level Room. You are invited to a private reception in the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room. Overnight in Calgary.

Day Two - After a deluxe continental breakfast, you will board the Royal Canadian Pacific train.  The train departs Calgary, venturing west to the Stewart Creek Golf Club at spectacular Three Sisters Resort in Canmore. Rejoin the train for a picturesque trip into the heart of the Canadian Rockies, through the famous Spiral Tunnels and the untouched wilderness of Yoho National Park. At Golden, the train leaves the Canadian Pacific Railway transcontinental rail line and travels into the Columbia River Valley.  Overnight on the train in Invermere, along Lake Windermere.

Day Three - After breakfast, a motorcoach will take you to tee off at Greywolf Golf Course at Panorama, in the heart of British Columbia. Greywolf Golf Course was ranked 50 of the top 100 best golf courses in Canada.  Enjoy world-class golfing in the Purcell Mountain Range. Afterwards, guests return to the train for a delectable dinner.  Overnight on the train once again in Invermere.

Day Four - Breakfast is served while the train journeys south.  A motorcoach will take you to Trickle Creek Golf Resort, located near Kimberly. Return to the train and enjoy a memorable dinner, as the train glides back along the stunning Columbia River Valley. Overnight on the train in Golden.

Day Five - The train departs early, traveling along the mighty Kicking Horse River to your final round at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel's Stanley Thompson course. Return to the train for a farewell dinner as we roll back to Calgary. Arrive at the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion in the late evening and, once more, check into the Gold Level Room at The Fairmont Palliser Hotel.  Overnight in Calgary.

Day Six - After a deluxe continental breakfast and checkout, a chauffeur returns you to the Calgary International Airport.
