Fully refreshed, your luxury vacation will take you to Banff, Lake Louise, the top of the peak at Kicking Horse Resort in Golden, the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel in Cranbrook, the UNESCO World Heritage site Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo-Jump in the foothills of the Rockies, and the Homeplace Ranch in the Alberta Prairies.
As you cap off the evening by watching the stars slowly begin to reveal themselves and contemplating the wonders of the day, you will fully understand why the Canadian Rockies are the choice destination of travellers from around the world.
Your 2008 Royal Canadian Rockies Experience is now available.

Day One - You will be chauffeured from the Calgary International Airport to the landmark Fairmont Palliser Hotel where you will check into the exclusive Gold Level room. You are invited to a private reception in the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room. Overnight in Calgary.
Day Two - After a deluxe continental breakfast, you will board the Royal Canadian Pacific train. The train travels west through the Canadian Rockies. Your first stop is in Banff for a guided tour of local historic sites. Next, travel to Lake Louise for an interpretive hike with a resident naturalist. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as the train continues west across the Continental Divide, through the famous Spiral Tunnels to Field, then along the Kicking Horse River Valley. At Golden, you overnight on the train alongside the Columbia River.
Day Three - A luxury motorcoach whisks you to Kicking Horse Resort, where you take a gondola ride up for breakfast in the Eagle Eye's Restaurant. The peak of Eagle's Eye Mountain affords a 360-degree view of the stunning Rocky Mountains. After you return to the train, the Royal Canadian Pacific heads south through the Columbia River Valley to Cranbrook, for a private tour of the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel. That evening, enjoy a gourmet dinner and overnight stay at Summit Lake on the Continental Divide.
Day Four - The journey continues with a gentle descent to the Alberta prairies. Visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to the train at Lethbridge for a breathtaking crossing of the High Level Bridge. Overnight on the train at serene Eltham, in the heart of the Alberta prairies.
Day Five - A short train ride takes you to Okotoks. A luxury motorcoach transfers you to Homeplace Ranch, a unique feature of high cattle country since 1912. Enjoy a guided horseback tour or a scenic walk of the family-owned ranch and savor a rustic steak pit lunch. Return to the train for the final leg of the excursion, reaching Calgary by mid-afternoon. Check in once again on the Gold Level floor at The Fairmont Palliser Hotel and enjoy dinner at The Rimrock Dining Room.
Day Six - After a deluxe continental breakfast and checkout, a chauffeur returns you to the Calgary International Airport.
