DAY 1 - VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Vancouver to Jasper
This evening transfer on your own to Vancouver's vintage rail station, where you'll board VIA Rail's 'Silver & Blue' (dinner onboard). Travel through lush farmlands of the Fraser Valley before entering the narrow gorge of the Fraser Canyon. Continue through the rolling ranch country of B.C.'s Interior Plateau as the train follows the North Thompson River to Kamloops and enters the majestic Rocky Mountains.
DAY 2 - Arriving in Jasper
Arriving in the alpine townsite of Jasper this afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the remainder of the day to relax and explore.
DAY 3 - Jasper to Banff Sightseeing
The spectacular Icefields Parkway awaits! Board your Brewster luxury motorcoach and journey along one of Canada's most scenic routes, including a stop at the Columbia Icefield Interpretive Centre, where you will board an all-terrain Ice Explorer and venture onto the living Athabasca Glacier (lunch not included). Continue your journey with a brief stop at Lake Louise, on to the bustling resort town of Banff.
DAY 4 - Discovering Banff
Discover Banff with a morning Brewster sightseeing excursion of local scenic highlights including a visit to the Banff Hoodoos and the Bow Falls. Your final stop will be at the Banff Gondola for a ride up Sulphur Mountain. The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander the unique shops and restaurants available within the townsite.
DAY 5 and 6 - 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops and Vancouver
All aboard the "Rocky Mountaineer" for a two day rail adventure. Experience the spectacular Kicking Horse Pass views and the Spiral Tunnels as you wind your way through the mountains of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Kamloops. En route to Vancouver the 'Rocky Mountaineer' follows the Thompson and Fraser Rivers to Hell's Gate Canyon. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard. Upon arrival in the west coast city of Vancouver transfer via taxi to your hotel.
DAY 7 - Departing Vancouver
A morning check-out from your hotel completes your Explorers Circle vacation.
